New CQC Compliance Tracking Tool available in Salus3 Cloud
New Enterprise module functionality helps event medical providers monitor compliance activity, identify outstanding actions and maintain supporting evidence.

8bits1byte Limited has launched a new CQC Compliance tracking tool within its Salus3 Cloud platform, developed to support organisations that are already registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), as well as private event medical providers preparing for forthcoming regulatory changes in England.

The development follows confirmation of significant changes to the regulation of private event medical services. From 6 December 2027, providers delivering Treatment of Disease, Disorder or Injury (TDDI) at sporting, cultural and similar events may need to be CQC registered following the removal of previous event-based exemptions. First-aid-only provision will remain outside the scope of this requirement, while services involving registered healthcare professionals using their clinical judgement, or staff working under their supervision, are likely to fall within regulation.

Following an increase in enquiries from customers about how Salus3 Cloud could support organisations operating within this changing regulatory environment, the development team has expanded the platform's existing compliance and key metric reporting functionality.

Salus3 Cloud already provides organisations with a centralised view of key operational metrics through its Enterprise module, including areas such as vehicle defects, DBS checks, training compliance and other organisational requirements.
The new CQC Compliance tool builds on this functionality by moving beyond a simple snapshot view and introducing automated compliance tracking, task management and evidence recording.

Tasks can be generated automatically when defined conditions are met, such as compliance rates falling below configured thresholds, important dates expiring, or required information being missing or out of date.

Where possible, tasks will also automatically resolve when the corresponding action is completed elsewhere within Salus3 Cloud. For example, where an outstanding vehicle defect generates a compliance task, the task can automatically close once the associated defect report is marked as completed.

This approach is designed to reduce the administrative burden associated with manually monitoring multiple areas of compliance, while giving organisations a clearer and more dynamic view of areas requiring attention.

The CQC Compliance dashboard displays outstanding tasks requiring action. Once a requirement has been met, the corresponding task is removed from the active dashboard while remaining available within the organisation's compliance history.

Organisations can also generate a Compliance Export showing both completed and outstanding tasks, helping to provide a clearer audit trail and supporting evidence of ongoing compliance activity.

Development of the CQC Compliance tool is continuing, with further trackable metrics, automated tasks and evidence-recording functionality planned for future releases.

A spokesperson for 8bits1byte Limited said:

“The regulatory changes affecting event medical providers mean many organisations are reviewing how they monitor, document and evidence their operational compliance. Our aim with this development is to bring together information that already exists across Salus3 Cloud and turn it into something more proactive — highlighting where action may be required and maintaining a clearer evidence trail over time.”

The company emphasises that the platform is intended to support organisations with their compliance processes rather than replace professional regulatory advice or an organisation's own responsibilities.
